This week in GlobalSportsJobs' BRAZIL 3-SIXTYº series with  adidas Group Blog , we meet Sibylle Kleer, or Billy as she is known to her friends.

When asked what she was going to do with her sports studies qualification, she is now able to say " land a dream kick-off for my career, as an adidas PR Trainee ."

With a passion for football, working on World Cup Projects is a dream come true. She has the responsibility to liaise with the media and provide information about all the adidas World Cup products such as brazuca , the official World Cup football.

As good as all of this sounds, Billy's job has some even better perks too...

GlobalSportsJobs asked Billy: ' The PR trainee position when advertised must have been very competitive; what experiences have you gained and what characteristics do you possess that made you stand out from the crowd and land this role?'

"I think what a PR Trainee needs is a suitable and international academic background, a personality that matches the team and the role and – most important – the passion for sports. Having studied Sports Management and Sports Communication including a semester abroad in Australia, the first aspect was a good fit. Furthermore, I had been an active football player for most of my life, a coach for a couple of years and sports has always been very important to me, so the passion part was easily answered as well. Apart from that, I managed to convince my managers that I am a good team player, love the field of communication and was eager to gain new skills with this position. Luckily enough, I already knew the team because I had been an intern within adidas PR before and this gave me the confidence I needed in the application process."
