    The Sports Technology Awards have been launched to recognize the increasingly important role that technology plays in sport and the positive impact on athletes, officials, spectators and sport organisations. The Awards present the opportunity to celebrate excellence and acknowledge successful technological innovation across all aspects of sports.

    Entries were received from all over the world including Austria, Holland, Finland, Turkey, Italy, South Africa, USA and Australia, from brands specialized in clothing, equipment, digital technology and apps.

    The awards will be judged by some of the biggest names in the industry including Sir Clive Woodward, Craig Dews, David Sheepshanks and Tessa Sanderson. The winners will be announced at a lunchtime ceremony in London on 4th April at The Brewery, a prestigious venue in the heart of the City.
