    On International Women’s Day 2023, CIES held a webinar about "The Growth of Women's Football". During the session, their special guest speakers, who are all FIFA Master course graduates, discussed the continuing evolution and growth of women’s football, especially important as we approach the FIFA Women’s World Cup in Australia and New Zealand later this summer.

    The guest speakers on this webinar were:

    • Alexa Vickroy, Women’s Football Development Supervisor at CONCACAF. Previously at FIFA and the US Soccer Federation (FIFA Master 2018 graduate).

    • Alyssa Lagonia, Women’s Football Assistant at UEFA and former women’s international (Canada) and UEFA Women’s Champions League player with Servette FC Chênois Féminin (FIFA Master 2019 graduate).

    • Ratu Tisha Destria, Vice President at the Indonesian Football Association (PSSI) and previously the organisation's first female General Secretary. She has been named one of “Football’s Future Women Leaders” by Goal.com (FIFA Master 2014 graduate)

    • Moderated by: Honey Thaljieh, Corporate Communications Manager at FIFA. Honey is also a former women’s football player and was the first captain of the Palestinian women’s team. She is a TEDx speaker and a champion for the development of women’s football around the world (FIFA Master 2012 graduate).
